The Selector Switch Knob is an OEM part for Frigidaire laundry centers. This knob is a component that allows users to select the desired settings for their washing or drying cycles. Positioned on the control panel of the laundry center, the knob translates user input into action, enabling the selection of different modes and options such as wash cycle type, temperature settings, and drying times.

Causes of damage to the selector switch knob often involve physical stress, such as over-tightening or rough handling, which can lead to cracks or breakage.

Symptoms of a bad Selector Switch Knob include:

  • Difficulty in turning the knob
  • The knob not engaging with the selector switch properly
  • Visible cracks or breakage on the knob
  • The knob falling off

This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

For Frigidaire Selector Switch Knob (Part Number: OEM13061571)

Cameron for Model Number GLET1031CS0

Hi, I have a selector switch dryer knob that says "KIP5C19" and "1340349." The dryer is an Electrolux, Model "GLET1031CS0". I ordered what I told would be the correct replacement knob--"134844470"--but the replacement will not fit on the dryer. When I visually compare the new and old knobs, the small "hole" on the back of the new knob has two small indents on either side of the bottom straight edge of the hole; the old knob does not have any indents into the hole. (In other words, the hole on the back of the old knob is basically just a circular hole, with a straight edge on the bottom of the hole. The new knob's hole is also circular, but the bottom edge has two "indents" and is thus not straight across.) I noticed that a couple other people have had trouble re-ordering this part; could someone please provide an explanation, or the correct replacement part number? Thanks.

Hi Evan. This is the smaller inner left and right knobs part # 134844470. If you will send us the exact model # for your unit which is inside the dryer door area, we can get you the exact part #'s for either the washer timer or the dryer timer if needed. Thank You.
