Original switch is marked 695T225PO1; 46-4018 Each appears to have integral wiring, what we call 'pigtail' wires in the industrial world, with heat shrink tubing over the connections to the switch (too bad I can't include a photo . . ) If there are terminals underneath the black heat shrink tubing, they are much smaller than standard 1/4" push-on connectors. Your replacement switch is a 316035200, which has no wiring attached. How does the field wiring attach to 316035200? Solder? mini screw terminals? spring-loaded connections?
1 Answer Dan, Yes, there are small female spade connectors inside the black heat shrink tubing on the end of the igniter switch wires. They are a 1/16 in brass, high intensity 120 VAC connector, and you have to be very careful when you remove them from the switch terminal. especially on older ranges. The igniter switch does have matching 1/16 in. terminals and the wires just plug and unplug like any other spade terminal, just be careful. Read More...
