Lebert September 14, 2011 for Model Number CRTF1240ASO Frigidaire front load washer. Broke a shock and replaced that. Pump runs free and clear.Washer works good on every cycle, but have to advance timer by hand. Replaced timer ,as it was suggested on other page but have same result. Control board fuse is not blown. Is there any other sensor that would cause this? Any more ideas? Thanks.
1 Answer Hi Lebert. Due to interference from a older timer with dirty contacts it will induce electrical interference noise into the speed controller and stall it which stalls the timer until manually advancing the timer yourself. The new speed control comes with a jumper harness that stops ll the noise and stop the issue altogether. The speed control part # is 134149220. Thank you. Read More...
Jim March 12, 2011 for Model Number GLTR1670ASO My washer dial moves sometimes and other times it gets stuck in a certain wash cycles. I think I need to replace the timer part #AP2108034. This is for a front load frigidaire gallexy washer. Will this solve my problem of not cycling through the washing cycles?
1 Answer Hello Jim. Check out your pump and make sure it is not clogged. If it is , this can cause cycle problems. If it is clear, replace the control board. Hope this helps. Read More...
