Joan October 15, 2020 for Model Number JNM1951SR1SS Need to replace microwave door handle. Part #88 shows stainless steel. Do you have one in black that would fit. If yes how much. Also there is one screw visible, other is under panel. Is it difficult to remove and replace?
1 Answer Joan, unfortunately, the manufacturer does not show a black handle being used with the model number provided. However, there is a black handle WB15X10260 for a similar model, although we would not be able to guarantee that it will fit properly. Accessing the screw is not necessarily difficult, but it will require that the inner plastic lining is removed using a putty knife or flat head screwdriver to carefully lift up on the lock tabs around the outside rim of the cover. Junetwa November 19, 2017 for Model Number JVM1950SR1SS Is there a black replacement handle that will fit this model GE over-the-range microwave. The one on our SS microwave cracked and is much too expensive to replace, but the microwave is still working just fine. We thought a black replacement might look OK if we can get one that fits. We used crazy glue on this one, but don't know how long it will last. Thanks for your help.
