David B November 07, 2013 for Model Number GE Dryer DH43 The motor is bad in the dryer. I took out the assembly but can't separate the motor shaft from the blower fan. I can't tell if I am seeing a pressed in nut that that shaft threads through or some other kind of hardware that locks the shaft to the fan. I have tried to turn the shaft while holding the wheel (both right and left) but they seem frozen together and I am worried about breaking the fan. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
1 Answer David, To remove the blower wheel it will turn off. It is threaded to turn to the left when removing. There is no other way to get the part off. Read More...
Cory September 28, 2011 for Model Number Dpxh46ga6ww Just received the blower unit and noticed that it has a threaded blower rotor. My original blower has a nerrled/pressed on fitting at the drive motor. Did you ship me the wrong part?
1 Answer Hello Cory. Based on the model number you provided, WE14X10025 is the correct blower wheel. If the shaft of the motor is not threaded, you may need to replace the motor WE17X10001 as well. Hope this helps. Read More...
