Mike May 12, 2023 for Model Number DFE28JSHDSS My actuator paddle gets stuck and doesn't release when we pull the cup away. You have to manually pull it back with fingers. What parts do i need and how do i remove that paddle for cleaning and/or replacement?
1 Answer Mike, Take the cover off the dispenser using a putty knife and then remove the screws from the board. This will give access to the paddles to see if something is stuck or broken. Read More...

Erin June 15, 2021 for Model Number PYE23PSDDSS Is there a repair manual for this model? My dispenser lever is not working. I found the part number, but cannot find any screws to disassemble user interface, move ice chute and access the dispenser to replace it.
1 Answer Erin, if present, there will be two screws at the back of the display assembly WR17X24677 that would be viewable when looking at the bottom of it. Once they are removed, or if they are not present, pull the bottom of the display assembly out then lower the assembly down. This will open up the area so that the paddle can be accessed. There will be a tab on each side just above the paddle that would need to be pressed in to allow the paddle WR17X13060 to move up and out. Read More...
