Brian September 26, 2019 for Model Number GDF520PSF2SS Dishwasher middle and upper spray arms won't spin. I changed out the main pump, cleaned/cleared everything possible, but arms won't move. Diverter possibly?
1 Answer Brian, with the unit unplugged, the circulation motor circuit will need to be tested from the main control. At connection J703, pin 2 (yellow & black wire) to pin 3 (brown & red wire) for continuity. If there is not continuity, then the brown and red wire will need to be tested for continuity from the main control to the motor connection. If there is not continuity at this point, then an inline fuse has failed. Unfortunately, the manufacturer lists the wiring harness only as part of the motor kit WD49X23778. If this all checks good, then the main control WD21X22276 will need to be tested for outgoing voltage (using the same test points for the motor circuit) to ensure that the motor is receiving voltage. Another thing to check would be the incoming water level to ensure that the motor has enough water to use to be able to produce the pressure necessary. Read More...
