Myron Novy April 16, 2020 for Model Number WDRR2500K3WW I have noticed that my clothes are very wet when the machine cycle ends. Looking inside I find standing water in the cabinet. I ran a cycle but could find nothing that appeared to leaking. I have some water on the floor. Not a lot but itis damp.is there a check valve in the tube that goes from the pump to the back of the cabinet. Do you hav e any idea what the problem might be. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Myron. I assume that you meant water standing inside the tub. If that's correct, you need to check if your washer drain water and goes into a hi-speed spin. Try to run the drain cycle with tub full of water but without any clothing. Spins, drains? See if any water left inside. The best way to watch this is without the front cabinet panel. If it's not draining - check the drain pump. If the motor is running but there is no spin - that's the belt or the transmission. If all seams to be in working conditions, let the washer to sit for a day and if you'll find water inside - it's the water inlet valve. Please contact us for further instructions if any needed. Holly D November 04, 2014 for Model Number WJSR1070A1WW Sometimes washer will go through complete cycle but does not drain water out of tub. I will have to set timer switch back to spot right before spin to get it to pump out water. Sometimes this takes a couple of times turning the knob before it does pump. Thank you!
1 Answer Hello Holly. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the timer WH12X10149 may be bad. Make sure there is no power coming to the pump when it is not draining. If there is power there and the pump does not drain, then the pump is the problem. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Brad April 03, 2014 for Model Number whdrr418gww I had a mildew smell, so I cleaned the washer very well. After a week the smell was back. I noticed water sitting in the outer tub in a reservoir just above the pump. I checked all the drain tubes and fund no obstructions. I then replaced the pump as I thought it was not draining properly. Now a week later, the smell is back and I see the water sitting in the tub again. Is this normal? If not what could the cause be?
1 Answer Brad, There will always be a little water in the units outer tub. For the mildew smell, you will need to try to run a clean cycle of the hottest water and cup of bleach or you can use a washer cleaner such as glisten W10549845 to get rid of the odor. Read More...

Steve April 16, 2012 for Model Number GE WJSE4150B1WW I am attaching a washing machine lint filter (Filtrol 160). Problem is the drain hose is plastic and I need a rubber hose to obtain a seal on the filter. To make matters worse, the washer outlet is a female opening instead of a typical outlet fitting that protrudes from the back. Is there any type of coupling that fits into the back of the washer and can attach to a 1" rubber hose? Please help!
1 Answer Hello Steve, I'm sorry to say that on this model, there is no other connector that I've ever heard of that will work. This unit is a bit of an oddity in design. You will have to contact the manufacturer for information, if any,on the add-on you're trying to install. Read More...
