Pete May 13, 2022 for Model Number PS950SF3SS The small portion of the front right element (WB30T10115) had gone bad. So, I replaced it. When I turned the replacement on, the new small portion of the element immediate burned out as well. Could it have been a bad element, or, is there something else I should look into that caused the first one to blow? It seems too much of a coincidence. I have another element on the way, but I'd like to know if there is a way to prevent another burnout. Thank you!
1 Answer Pete, Thanks for the question!!! The most likely causes would be that the burner was faulty or there was contamination on the burner or top that caused the failure. Read More...
Micheal Thomas April 26, 2022 for Model Number ps950ef1es Hello I'm trying to help a neighbor lady by fixing her element on her stove. Frank January 09, 2022 for Model Number PS950SF2SS I found your part number for wb30t10155, but I can not find video or instructions on how to replace element. Is there instructions or video you can refer me to, so I can determine if this is something I can do myself?
1 Answer Frank, with the power cord unplugged, there will be 2 screws on the side of the control that would need to be removed. There will also be 6 screws securing the control panel to the frame that once all are removed, the panel can be moved out of the way. There will then be 4 screws securing the control panel frame to the cooktop that would need to be removed. The cooktop can then be lifted up at the front and pulled forward. There will be a harness connection at the rear that would need to be disconnected, and this will allow the cooktop to be removed fully. Read More...
