Ed February 01, 2015 for Model Number HTDX100GD5WW Is the end of the duct that connects to the blower small enough to fit into the blower opening?
1 Answer Ed, No, the end of the exhaust pipe will not fit inside the opening of the blower housing, it has to fit over the end of the opening. Once you have it properly installed, you can use some metal/aluminum vent tape or a self drilling/self tapping screw to hold it in place. Read More...
Charlie October 14, 2014 for Model Number GTDX300EM1WS The flexible tubing for the exhaust is round at both ends, but the wall connection is oblong. Do they make tubing which is round at the end attached to the dryer and oblong at the other end?
1 Answer Hello Charlie! Unfortunately, we do not have the requested type of venting available. I would suggest contacting a local heating and air company or a sheet metal company to see if they can make one to the specs needed. Hope this helps. Thanks. Read More...
Bob B. April 14, 2014 for Model Number dbxr453evoww My exhaust pipe seems to be disconnected in the dryer. No or low exhaust pressure is present at the exhaust vent. I recently re-attached the flexible vent tube because there was a hole in it. the exhaust tube is well-connected to the exhaust pipe but the exhaust pipe is NOT secure to the dryer.
