John Klika June 23, 2021 for Model Number PDWT280P00SS I ordered parts from APP several times in the past and have been very happy. But my latest order (#912782225-11080837) was not so great. I'm installing the new Inlet sump, Coarse Filter, and Sump Filter & Cover but the Sump Filter will not snap in place. I compared the distance between the top of the coarse filter and the top of the Inlet sump plate with both the old and the new Coarse filter. The new distance is about 1/2" greater than the old. It's no wonder why it won't snap in place. Part WD22X10038 is NOT a like-for-like replacement. What do I do now? I have photos showing the different gaps.
1 Answer John, This may be something where the manufacturer may have mispacked the part. I would be recommended to call customer service at 877-477-7278 and maybe see about a reship or stock check. Read More...
Suzie November 21, 2018 we ordered the replacement course metal filter and followed the video instructions. Everything came out o.k. and we put back the parts in the correct order. Now my GE Monogram dishwasher is making a buzzing sound "quite loudly". What's up? Thanks for any help.
1 Answer Suzie, Remove that part and see if the noise goes away. If so reinstall again and check to see if the noise comes back. This part shouldn't touch any moving parts so it's likely debris has gotten into the sump area. Read More...
Hesam April 23, 2018 for Model Number PDWT280V00SS I need coarse filter seal I can't find the part number, can you help me to find it?
Sam April 06, 2017 for Model Number Pdwt180r10ss My coarse filter is starting to lose the gasket that was attached to it. The original filter apparantly is no longer available and the replacement for it, you have stated was designed with no gasket. My question, do I need to replace the filter then? Will it stay on the bottom if there is no gasket surrounding it?
1 Answer Sam, As long as the filter is not leaking then it will not be necessary to replace the filter. Read More...
Steve July 12, 2015 for Model Number GE PDW9980N00SS I have a few things going on. 1) Middle spray arm contunues to get cloged with debrie, constantly cleaning, last cleaning noticed it does not get enough water presure to spin. run the washer and open door arm is in exactly the same position.Others arms spin fine. 2) Auto soap dispenser is not opperating any more.? Tube kink or dispenser. No red light for low level detergent.
1 Answer Steve, The issue with the dispenser not opening would be caused by a dispenser issue. For the middle spray arm not working you will want to check to make sure that the manifold that runs to the spray arm is not clogged and is seating properly. Also check the pump assembly to ensure that there is not clogging or debris in the pump. Read More...
Matt March 21, 2015 for Model Number PDWT380R10SS My current filter coarse (WD22X10038) has a worn seal around it. I was looking for a replacement part for it. I see the main part here and in the diagram but I don't see a seal. Is one available? If not what is the recommended installation for the filter coarse? Thanks for the help!
1 Answer Matt, The manufacturer has changed the design in which the course filter no longer requires the seal. The seal did not do anything for the unit and has been removed. Read More...
