Barry August 24, 2017 for Model Number GTWN4250D1WS Funnel shower head assembly WH41X10299 was plugged with mineral deposit build up, causing water to spray horizontally, and leak into base pan, from which it leaked out the sides into the carpet. Removed and cleaned. It Looked very clean and worked great for a month, but is now spraying again. Is there a substitute funnel with the slot, like they used to have, that will fit this washer? It would have to have the mounting hole for the ATC sensor probe. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Barry, I'm sorry but WH41X10299 is the only part listed by the manufacturer as a satisfactory part for the model provided. Read More...
Kim May 15, 2017 for Model Number GTWN4250D0WS There is water dripping from the funnel shower head into the washing machine. What will cause it to do this?
1 Answer Hello Kim. That would indicate the water valve WH13X10053 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Alex October 26, 2014 for Model Number GTWN4950L0WS My washing machine continues to drip after the wash cycle is finished What could be causing this?
Ryon September 04, 2013 for Model Number GTWN4950LOWS I had been noticing water at the rear of my washer. I pulled the washer out not knowing what it was and I went looking. Opened the front and looked around and found quite a bit of water in the bottom tray. Checked the pump hose, drain hose, tub no leaks found. I then noticed the back wall had quite a bit of water dripping down it. I then moved my search to the top panel. Took the panel off, turned the washer on to fill and noticed water coming from the funnel shower head. Im not sure if the tube needs to be replaced or if the shower head is not positioned far enough over the tub and any water pressure is just splashing water behind the funnel head and going right down the back of the washer and causing water to puddle. Any suggestions or another problem you may think is there Im not seeing.
1 Answer Hello Ryon, GE states this referring to your model GTWN4950L0WS: Check for water supply hoses pushed up tightly against a wall. This condition can affect the position of the fill funnel so that the water spray isn’t correct during fill. Pull the washer away from the wall a little to correct. Read More...
