Frances September 01, 2017 for Model Number gtwp2250d How do I install a funnel showerhead on my ge hyrowave washer? Thank you. Frances
1 Answer Francis, In order to change out the shower head you will need to remove the front panel of the unit by using a putty knife to release the spring clips. Once you do this you will then need to lift the main top of the unit and you can replace the shower head. Read More...
Alex April 02, 2016 for Model Number GTWN4250D1WS I have developed mildew in the funnel shower assembly head in our GE washer. It plugged the holes and caused water to spill over the side onto the floor. What do you suggest we do to correct this problem? Has the funnel shower assembly head been redesigned so that water doesn't stay inside it and cause a mold slime substance to form? I would appreciate a response to this question . Would like to solve this problem. Thanks.
1 Answer Alex, It does not appear based on the part number for the funnel WH41X10299 that the manufacturer has changed the design in any way. You may want to try to pull the funnel and clean it , otherwise you would need to replace the funnel assembly. One way to clean would be to soak it in vinegar. Read More...
Keith March 22, 2016 for Model Number GCWN4950D0WS When the machine is not running, water is leaking out of the funnel shower head. I assume there is a seal that may be bad in the shower head and that I need to replace the entire head. There is no water leaking on the floor, it leaks into the machine, nor does water leak if I turn off the water. Is the shower head what I need to replace? If so, how much of the machine do I need to disassemble to get to it? Thank you in advance!!
1 Answer Hello Keith. You will need to order and replace the valve WH13X10053 on the unit to repair the unit. Read More...
Parrish February 13, 2015 for Model Number GTWN4250D0WS While washer is filling there is considerable amount of water coming from the back of funnel shower head. Believe just need to replace funnel shower head; however, on mine i see wires passing through is there an input? On the part on your webpage I don't see any place for electrical input?
1 Answer Parrish, Yes there is an electrical part that goes to the funnel shower head assembly. This would be the thermistor. You can remove the thermistor from the old part and install on the new part where the hole is on the top. Read More...
