Thu Luu, We look up parts based off your model number and thats our way of assuring you that you receive the correct part. The model tag is probably inside the hood vent. Try removing the filters to find the model tag.

Hello Lupita, If your model number is actually JVW5301SJ1SS you will need to order WB02X24872. If you need 2 you will have to order two of these since they come individually.

Shari, thank you for your question, the best way to clean the filters is to take them out and run through a cycle in your dishwasher.

Diane, You can remove the air grill and see if you can see anything in the top that may be causing the smoking but would probably be better to remove the unit from the wall and remove the cabinet to check it.

Angie A for Model Number J N330 003AD

Hi! Thank you for this site! I'm a 1st time home owner learning quickly that if I don't fix the simple stuff myself I'll go broke very quickly! Hot water heater exploded first then the silent leak from the commode tripled my water bill but enough about the joys of homeownership. Now I'd like to prevent my stove from going up in flames. The G E hood range had 2 filters installed, one on top of the other. Both were 17" x 11 3/8" and were metal mesh. One of them dropped small black pellets everywhere until I was able to rip it out. I believe the G E Deluxe 30 hood range I have is discontinued but replacement parts are available. However, I can't seem to find info on why there were 2 filters. I would like to know the function of each and the necessity of having two. I am confused on which 2 to buy and what order they should be installed. Thank you so much!

Angie, There are 2 filters in this unit. One would be a charcoal filter and the other is a grease filter. The part number for the charcoal filter is WB2X2892 and grease filter TJRHF1112. The charcoal filter will go in first and then the grease filter. The grease filter that you currently have should be able to be washed.
