Edward February 15, 2012 for Model Number EWA5600G1 My hydromatic washer will agitate but when it goes into the 'spin' mode, I get a spark at the 10a 125v fuse thats connected to the white/red wire in the harness, and it will not spin. Sometimes it will begin to spin, then I hear a 'click' and get that spark again and it stops spinning. But other than that the washer works..fills..agitates...pumps water out. Just will not spin or stops spinning. What do I need to check first?
1 Answer Hello Edward. If the fuse link WH49X10055 keeps blowing in the unit, you will need to replace the inverter motor WH20X10058 in the unit. Make sure the shifter module WH38X10017 is working properly in the unit as well. Hope this helps. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Ray. The fuse link WH49X10055 is located in the wiring harness going down to the motor. Hope this helps. Read More...
Joe September 25, 2011 for Model Number WLRE4500G0WW My washer will not spin or agitate..after posting several questions and receiving several helpful tricks to diagnose a problem...I am still perplexed as to what the problem can be ? No flashing led fault light, not the in line fuse link, not the lid switch, power is going to the motor. Help please !
1 Answer Hi Joe. There is a fuse in- line to the motor strapped up at the top in the harness. This feeds the motor power. There will be no blinking of the motor to allow status. This blows when the motor is defective. They have to be replaced together. The motor/ inverter is part # WH20X10058. The fuse kit is part # WH49X10055. Thank you. Read More...

Todd September 15, 2011 for Model Number wjre5500g2ww I just stripped the wire back were the fuse is by looking at it it did not look melted or blown. I do not have a ohm tester at home to check it out. There is a green light flassing slowly on top of the motor?
1 Answer Hello Todd. You need to get an ohm meter and test the fuse WH49X10055. How many times does the light flash? That is a fault code for the washer. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Stan May 31, 2011 for Model Number WJRR4170G1WW I believe this is the fuse feeding the motor? I believe this fuse link is a "fuse". That is I should read 0 ohms or infinite ohms. I'm reading something in between.
1 Answer Hello Stan. According to the manufacture the fuse should read closed. If the fuse is open, agitate, spin, and mode shifting do not occur. You will need to replace the fuse WH49X10055. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
