Ed October 21, 2012 for Model Number GE Profile Refridgerator Model PSI23MGTE BV THE DOOR CLOSING LEVER PART 842 ON THIS APPLIANCE, PART NUMBER WE10009 BROKE ON MY UNIT. I HAVE THE SPRING BUT NEED A NEW PART TO INSTALL IN THE UNIT. HOW DO YOU INSTALL IT IN THE FRIDGE. I HAD TO SAW OUT THE BROKEN ONE TO GET IT OUT AND TO GET THE DOOR CLOSED.

The closure mechanism consists of a lever, attached with a spring to a hook in the base channel, which interacts with a cam mounted to the bottom of each door with two T-20 Torx screws.
