Customer Questions and Answers for Lower Spray Arm by Ge

The Lower Spray Arm Assembly is an OEM replacement part compatible with GE dishwashers. This assembly consists of the tubular spray arm and attached brackets that secure it underneath the upper dish rack. Part has been updated by the manufacture, heat sheilds  metal clips) are nologner included with the lower spray arm. They are not sold as a seperate part, they are no longer required per GE. 

Causes of a bad lower spray arm assembly can include mineral buildup that clogs spray holes over time or cracks/breaks from daily rack loading.

Symptoms of a bad lower spray arm assembly include:

• Inadequate cleaning of lower rack dishes
• Dirty dishes or glasses underneath with noticeable hard water spots
• Rattling or clicking noises from the loose spray arm during cycles

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.  

NOTE:  The Manufacture has updated the spray arm. The spary arm no longer has the metal ends on the tips  of the heat sheild is no longer required per the manufacture.
