Fred for Model Number JVM1750SMC01

I wish to remove the mounting plate, since I am planning to buy a new microwave. However, fasteners attaching the mounting plate to the wall has an unfamiliar head viz it look like a small "nail" inside a washer like thing. Any ideas on how I can remove the fasteners? Fred for Model Number JVM1750SMC01 ANSWER Fred, if the bolt in question has a star or hexagon like insert and a small stem in the center then it is a security screw and would require a security torx (star shaped) or allen (hexagon shaped) bit to remove. Fred's Response: The insert is flat and smooth, and the surrounding "washer" is also smooth. There is no provision to use a screwdriver, or a security torx or an allen key.

Fred, sounds like it may be an expansion anchor. If the center piece is removed, this should allow the anchor to be removed. However, it is possible that damage could be done to the wall due if it is an expansion anchor.
