Ron May 23, 2014 for Model Number jbp26 I just ordered the lower oven element wb44t10011 because the current element I believe is not heating up completely. The question is at the back of the element where it connects to the back of the oven stays black. The area is from connection point to the beginning of the curve out starts. Does that mean it is dying out? The oven is taking a little bit longer to preheat. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Ron. It is common for some elements not to go all the way back. It sounds more like a sensor issue here then it does an element issue. You will need to test the sensor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
