Butcherdad April 29, 2011 for Model Number jbp79wv1ww After I unscrewed the element it goes through the back wall. Do I pull the element out or connect it from the back some how?
1 Answer Hello! You can install the element from the front. After unscrewing, pull it out through the back wall. There will be wires attached to the element you will need to unplug. Be careful to not drop the wiring back through the oven wall. Once the wiring is removed, pull the element out and attach the new element to the wiring. Be sure that all power is removed from the appliance before attemping installation. Thanks. Read More...

I assembled it but there are 3 supports and the one in the middle is longer than the two outer ones. This causes the element to only to be supported by the one in the middle. This is the correct way this fits? Thank you
1 Answer Joe, yes the middle foot is longer than the rest. Once the element has seasoned(heated up and cooled down)several times, it will fit solidly on all the feet. nothing to be concerned with. Thanks for allowing us to assist you, Good Luck Read More...
