Tom D. December 10, 2013 for Model Number JGBP28GEJ I have a GE gas range purchased in 1990, works great. The model number I put in, according to the receipt from way back when, had a 'BG" after it but I can't find that full number. I get somewhere so long as I leave the BG off. My problem is the control panel, which I believe is analog. On the right side there is a digital clock which has a multi use turn knob. It is working off an on-after all these years I'm assuming the contacts are going bad. Underneath the digital clock there are 4 buttons for timer, cook time, stop time and clean time. The panel has two dials in the center for oven set and temp. If it helps I can send a scan from the manual but at this point in my searching it appears my sole option is to replace the panel with a digital unit that has all the controls in a square panel in the center. If so, I want to make sure I order all that I need given the change in the location and how the controls operate, including the digital from analog change. Thanks.
