John October 07, 2016 for Model Number GE JT965SOK3SS I have a GE combination microwave and convection oven. The microwave display is ok but the oven display is very dim. The time is viewable but dim, however I can barely read the oven temperature. I think it has degraded over time and has now reached the point I think something needs to be replaced. The oven appears to function properly. Thank you
Fantom August 23, 2015 for Model Number JT952BF4BB Hello, We have a GE built in convection oven (JT952BF4BB), I think that the convection fan needs to be replaced (WB26T10013 I believe) as it has become rather loud. I typically try to do repairs myself but have not been able to find any videos or instructions for this repair. Is there any assistance you could provide me in this regard? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Fantom. CONVECTION BAKE ELEMENT AND FAN ASSEMBLY The Bake Element and Fan Assembly are located on the back wall of the oven liner behind the panel with the screen in the center. TO ACCESS CONVECTION BAKE ELEMENT: 1. Disconnect power to range; remove oven door and oven racks. 2. Remove 4 screws mounting panel (2 on each side) and pull forward. TO REMOVE CONVECTION BAKE ELEMENT: Remove 3 screws mounting element to back wall. Pull forward and disconnect wires. TO SERVICE FAN: Fan blade can be replaced from inside oven. Oven must be removed from installation to access Convection Fan Motor. Read More...
