Tom December 20, 2016 for Model Number GSD5120D01BB I received the assembly wd22x10017 spray arm because I broke the tabs off the old one. Thanks for the next day delivery! I can't Install it until I can get the old base out, I think it is right handed thread but I can only rotate it about 1-2 degrees. I feel I am strong enough but it feels as though it is stopping by something hard. Can you tell me how to get the old base off?
1 Answer Tom, This spray arm should make about 2 rotations to screw into place and would come out the same way. You may need to get ahold of the base with something to get it to turn in order to come out. Read More...

Joan January 05, 2013 for Model Number Gsd5330d01ww We pulled out the lower arm before reading instructions to unscrew it. When doing this we broke the tabs inside. Now the spray arm doesn't seem to move during the cycle. Do the broken tabs cause this to happen? Should I just replace the spray arm assembly?
1 Answer Hello Joan, The spray arm hub is actually the only part needing replacement, but since the spray arm hub is not available without the complete assembly, you will have to order the complete lower spray arm assembly WD22X10017. The reason to spray arm will not longer spin is that the retaining tabs that broke off keep the spray arm from being lifted by the water pressure. When the water pressure is applied, the spray arm is hitting the bottom rack and cannot turn. Read More...
Chris July 03, 2011 for Model Number gsd1230T63WW In the answer above, the instructions are to unscrew it. I have tried it counter clock wise but the base just turns and nothing unscrews. Do I somehow stop whatever the base is screwed into from turning? I need specific instructions to unscrew the lower arm. as I look at it from below I can see a residue path where it is leaking from the center hole of the base. I figure the seal is bad. Just can't get the lower arm out from inside.
1 Answer Hello Chris. Here are the instructions from the manufacture. Hope this helps. To remove the lower wash arm, you will need to insert a screw driver into the tabs under the spray arm, and unscrew the lower spray arm assembly. These are right handed threads. Reinstall in reverse order. Read More...
