Greg, This issue sounds likely that it would be caused by a faulty pressure switch.

Gary, This issue would most likely be a siphoning issue and you would want to check the drain hose to make sure that the hose is not pushed too far down into the stand pipe. If it is the water will just flow in and right back out.

Randy, You will want to check to see if the motor is engaging when it goes into the spin cycle. If the motor just hums and does not turn on then this would likely be a issue with the timer contacts sticking between agitate and spin. If the motor is turning and the belt is turning then the brake would most likely be bad and transmission would need replace. If the unit was making a loud screeching noise during spin prior to no spin issue then it could be a bad tub bearing.

Kathy for Model Number WJSE4150B1WW (GE)

Machine stops at drain cycle - it sometimes drains, sometimes not - I took out the pump, it seemed to be working and it was getting power - but at times it sounds like it is trying to start up and can't seem to do it. If I unplug the machine and wait a bit and plug it up again with the knob between rinse and spin and turn it on it will drain. I did three loads this morning and then it started not draining again and the unplugging did not work this time.

Kathy, If the drain is getting power but is not pumping out then this issue will be caused by either something getting caught in the drain pump or a bad drain pump which would need to be replaced.

Fixnmystuff, You will want to check the resistance of the thermistor on the water valve. The thermistor should have a resistance of 10K ohms at room temperature. If the resistance is not correct then you would need to replace the water valve part number WH13X10010. If the resistance checks ok then you will need to replace the main control board part number WH12X10224.
