Dennis October 05, 2014 for Model Number JBP63GW1WH I am trying to replace the range electronic oven control. The original part had 4 prongs to wire. The new part has 6 prongs. The 6 prongs aren't marked as to which color wire goes where. Any help would be appreciated.
1 Answer Dennis, The Yellow wire from bake will go to the big relay that has the yellow dot on it and will go on the horizontal terminal. The Broil wire which may be purple or violet will go to the upper horizontal terminal on the relay that has the purple dot on it. The White will go to the terminal just below the relay with the purple dot and the black wire will go to the vertical terminal on the purple dot relay. Read More...
Caren December 08, 2013 for Model Number JBP61WB1WW My oven seems to work properly only part of the time. It heats up but then seems to take much longer then the allotted time to bake the items I'm trying to bake. At other times it seems to be OK. Does this sound like it could be a control board problem? If so what part number would I have to order from you?
1 Answer Hello Caren. It sounds like the control WB27X10215 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Kerry G May 02, 2013 My oven uses control board WB27K5128. This part is no longer available, is there an equivalent unit? There seems to be a few out there that look like they would work such as WB27X10311. I am really hoping to get off cheap.
1 Answer Kerry, Unfortunately the control has been discontinued and there is not a replacement that will work per manufacturer. Read More...
Paul February 05, 2013 for Model Number RB753BB1AD I had a repair guy come to the house with this part for our stove and it had to many wire hookups (6) on it. Our stove has only (4) - 1 yellow, 1blue, 2 red into one, 2 white into one. With nunbers - 9940 cpc-3 94v-o or on the coil with yellow tape is the number 9909. The stove is around 12 years old now. Thanks for your help - Paul
1 Answer Hello Paul. You will connect the yellow bake wire to the bake relay where you see the NO on the relay. Then connect the Blue broil wire to the broil relay terminal NO. The double red goes to the L1 on the board and the double white goes to the N on the board. Then connect the lock and sensor connector to the board WB27X10215. Read More...
