It looks alot like clear stretchy tape I buy at Costco for my Hockey shin pads to fit tighter! According to the Infinite Control Knob Repair video, it acts as a layer between the glass and the cabinet. Does this clear tape have to be heat resistant? or does it just act as a thin cushion?
