The Vent Grille is an OEM part for GE microwave ovens. It is located at the top of the appliance to safely vent heated air and moisture outside during operation. 

Causes of failure can be normal wear over time, impact damage, or exposure to extreme heating levels during cooking.

Symptoms of a bad vent grille include:

• Reduced air flow causing interior components to overheat
• A loose or detached grille that poses a potential hazard
