This electronic control board is the appliance's central controller, coordinating power to key components so cycles start, run, and finish correctly. Replacing a failed board restores reliable, automatic operation and resolves control-related faults. What it does:

  • Orchestrates timing and power to major loads (motors, valves, heaters, pumps)
  • Failure may present as no start, won't complete cycle, intermittent operation, or unresponsive/erratic controls
  • Can prevent individual components from running even when they test good
  • Susceptible to damage from power surges, overheating, or moisture intrusion
What's included:
  • 1 electronic control board
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; verify power is off
  • Use ESD protection and handle the board by the edges only
  • Access the control compartment, photograph wiring, and move connectors one at a time to matching terminals
  • After installation, run a diagnostic/test cycle per your tech sheet
