1 Answer Hi Moses. This cap cove is located in the lower area Lt. of the front panel, below the door. This is a access area that is made to drain the tub of any residual standing water left in sump area. The hose is so you can lower the hose in a bucket to drain out the water in case of a pump issue. The front pump filter then can be unscrewed to clean any incomming debris from the tub/sump hose/and pump.
