Julio August 09, 2017 for Model Number wd12580bd I need to repair a leak from the washer door, im not sure if its only the gasket as i can see the door moves a bit even when it's locked. What should I do?
1 Answer Julio, You will want to check to make sure that the hinge is tight on the door. Make sure that there is no play up and down other than very minimal with the door open. It sounds like the door gasket may be what is needed. Read More...

Ginger April 04, 2017 for Model Number WM2010CW Recently it started to smell like something was burning. When I opened the door their was a great deal of smoke. The load prior it seems has a blanket hung up on the inner door gasket. We got that all out but it's still smoking inside the machine. What could cause this? Our first thought was for gasket. Thanks in advance
1 Answer Ginger You will want to pull the tub and check to make sure that there is nothing caught between the inner and outer tub of the unit. Also check the spider to make sure that it is not damaged which could cause the inner tub to rub on the outer. tub. Read More...
Tracy December 05, 2016 for Model Number DLEX3570V We bought a LG washer and dryer (true steam/sensor dry) earlier this year...and there's already a large crack in the dryer door. Very disappointing! How can we go about replacing this? I sure hope LG picks up the tab. Model DLEX3570V. Please email your response to: tvtrace@comcast.net

Alexis G. October 08, 2016 for Model Number WM2301HR I keep receiving a dE error code on my LG front-loading washing machine. When I power up the washer and attempt to run a load, it clicks twice in the rear of the machine (main board not the door lock). I've read that the most common problem is with a broken door lock, but could the problem be with a broken main board since that is where the clicking noises are coming from?
1 Answer Alexis, It's not likely the main control board, the clicking noise indicates the control board is operating and the circuit is proper. You'll need to check the wores and connections between the board and the door lock assembly. If there are no loose connections or broken/damaged wires, you'll need to replace the door lock assembly EBF49827801 / 6601ER1004C. " DE error code - Door not all the way closed. Loose electrical connections at Door switch and PWB Assembly. The DOOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY is out of order." Read More...
Dave R September 15, 2016 for Model Number WM2277HW I have tried everything I found to do in order to pin point where or what's the cause of the leak from the bottom on my LG Washer. Can you lead me on trouble shooting this leak problem. Thanks!
1 Answer Dave, The parts that would most likely cause the leak would be a possible tear in the door gasket, a hose under the tub leaking, drain hose leaking, or possible the seal leaking between the tubs or rear seal around bearing leaking. Read More...
