Tim H November 17, 2012 for Model Number lg dishwasher model ldf6920st The HE error message came up on my LG model ldf6920ST dishwasher. I want to replace the element, but when I look on line (ehow) I am told I need to remove the lower spray arm. I don't understand that as it appears the heating element will just come out under the unit. Can you tell me if it is necessary to remove the lower spray arm, and why?
1 Answer Hello Tim. No, on an LG the element removes from the bottom of the unit. There is no need to remove the spray arm. Read More...

Jbb March 13, 2012 for Model Number LDF8812ST The dishwasher is not heating, and it seems that there is no continuity in the heating element but I do not get the error message. Is it possible for the heating element to go bust without getting an error message?
1 Answer Hello Jbb. It is possible to have a heating circuit failure and not get a failure code, if the units' self diagnostic circuit has failed. I would seriously consider replacing the control module EBR33469401 at the same time I replaced the heating element 5301DD1001G. Hope this was helpful and have a great day! Read More...
Roberta November 04, 2011 for Model Number Ldf6920bb Is this the part I need for lg dish washer that the code is flashing he and how hard is it to put in?
1 Answer Hello Roberta. The heater 5301DD1001G is not a hard part to install, but you will need to uninstall the dishwasher and access the heater assembly from the bottom of the unit. Based on the code, you need to make sure the water is not coming into the dishwasher above 120°. If so, it can cause the code as well. If the water temperature is good, and you have the HE error code, you will need to replace the heater and thermistor assembly. Hope this helps. Read More...
