The Tub to Pump Hose Assembly is an OEM part for LG washing machines. This hose connects the tub to the drain pump, allowing water to be efficiently drained from the washing machine during the spin and drain cycles.

Over time, the hose can become clogged, develop cracks, or experience wear due to constant water flow and agitation. Damage can also occur from accidental mishandling or impact, leading to leaks or improper drainage.

Symptoms of a bad Tub to Pump Hose Assembly include:

  • Water leaking from the washing machine
  • Slow or incomplete drainage
  • Error codes related to drainage issues
  • Excess water remaining in the tub after the cycle

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.

For Lg Tub To Pump Hose Assembly (Part Number: OEM15734163)

Ted for Model Number WT5480CW

Attempting to identify drain hose for LG WT5480CW 5.0 cu.ft. washer. Appears to be p/n AEM73213001. upon removal of OEM hose , which required use of flat blade screwdriver & twisting to dislodge around OD from tub outlet & pump inlet , i noted factory used some type of clear-sealant ? possibly clear silicone ? I have a similar 8" hose p/n MEJ62104801#2 (AEM73213001) but it seems a bit short + stretched & easily pulls off even when clamped with provided snap ring from tub bottom outlet which is smooth with no barbs. Does your part no. AP5244718 have a part# on hose (MEJ62104801#2) ? Also, any recommendations on an adhesive sealant to secure / prevent hose from coming off ? I can see hose coming off & making a huge water mess on floor

Ted, There should be no need for a sealant on the drain hose and we do not have information on a part number that would show on the hose but the correct drain hose that would be for your unit is AEM73732901.

Bill, There is no specific spot for the hose clamp as long as it is around the tub stub and the stub on the drain pump it should hold.

Hello Don, any type of glue/sealant is usually not needed or recommended. Suggest you recheck the ports where the hose connects on each end for debris, cuts, scratches, anything that would prevent a watertight seal.

Gertrude, You will want to get under the hose with a flat blade to get it loose as it is most likely just stuck due to the hose being on for an extended period of time.
