Oliver July 19, 2023 for Model Number LRFDS3006S There is ice in the fill tube and the fill cup. As a result, the water is just pouring over the solid ice block in the fill cup and going into the bin. I end up with a solid block of ice in the bin and some on the bottom of the freezer. Should I just defrost it a and see what happens? What's the best way to do that? Thanks!
1 Answer Oliver, this is a water valve failure. The ice would need to be cleared and the water valve MJX64471402 in the door would need to be replaced. Read More...

If the temperature is matching the set temperature, the setting would need to be adjusted to as close to 0°F as possible as the ice maker will not properly cycle at temperatures more than 1°F. Warmer temperatures will cause a slow harvest rate. Read More...
