Mark, it is possible that the stud MJB63190001 could be backing out or the set screw of the handle is loosening. Both would need to be checked. However, if the set screw is not loosening and the stud is backing out, it would likely be a failure of the door.

I also need the set screws for the handle. I'm having a really difficult time finding these and the local hardware stores don't carry the right size either. What is LG's deal with this? I've already bought a new door and handle but now I cannot install the handle because the set screws are missing. Unfortunately the old set screws were installed so tight that they stripped when trying to remove them. Please help, I'm running out of options. Is there any way you can get these set screws for me?

Hi Mark. The door handle assy. does not break down the set screw you need on the breakdown. I know that you mentioned @ the hardware store no success. Did you clean -off the set screw threads to re-use them? Usually they can be cleaned because they are made of the stronger thread. Ace Hardware has metric sizes. All we can assitst you with is the new door handle or the stopper studs. Thank you.

Hello Scot! It seems that the manufacturer does not offer the set screw with the handle stud stopper 4620JJ2010C or the handle assembly AED37082916. We will need to research this further for you. May we have your serial number please? Thanks!
