Doug Q December 12, 2017 for Model Number LP123CD3A CH02 error code on PTAC unit not working Indoor thermistor coil What part do I need
Bob B. January 29, 2017 for Model Number LG PTAC Unit I have error message that appears on the LED display all the time. CH 07 on LG PTAC unit try to reset unplugged for day and plugged back it works on heating mode for minute or two and gives that error message again and stops working.
1 Answer Hello Bob, As per LG Technical sheet, this case of error is "Indoor units set in different operation modes". The manufacturer gives this solution: On Multi split systems, the first unit switched on is the cool heat master, the master tells the condensing unit what to do. If the condenser is in heating and any slave is set to cooling a CH07 fault code will appear. Likewise if the condenser is in cooling and any slave is set to heating a CH07 fault code will appear. If the master is switched off the next longest running unit becomes the master. To clear the fault turn off the unit at the remote controller, turn it back on again and change the mode. For a more detailed diagnosis, we would have to ask you to post a new question that includes the model number from your units' I.D. tag. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
