Mark October 07, 2020 for Model Number AP5632524 This part number. is it priced for two like shown in the picture?
Jerry June 21, 2020 for Model Number LDF7774ST I am writing this on Sunday, Father's Day, and what an appropriate way to spend it, fixing something in the house!!! :). Here is my question: My dishwasher was installed under a granite countertop and to avoid drilling into the granite the installers used the side brackets. In my particular model there was a bracket behind the holes you describe above and they screwed into the cabinets with the screw being against this inner piece. This piece was part of the frame that surrounds the front edge of the dishwasher. In your assembly picture parts E005 are right above this "frame" which is not numbered. So since your answer and the picture in the assembly model do not indicate the brackets on that frame I am not sure how to proceed. I thought I would need to replace the entire frame to get those brackets but since you don't show that part or that the picture does not have the bracket I wondering if I should just put a screw or bold through the whole. In which case I would need to purchase a pair of bushings/Plugs Part E010 in your diagram. However I am wondering if you also have the appropriate screws and plugs that would both have a head wide enough to secure to the frame of the dishwasher and be shallow enough to be covered by the bushing/plug. It has to be shallow enough to be able to close the dishwasher which is pretty shallow. I know this is a long question and I appreciate in advance your patience and time in responding. Thank you, Jerry
1 Answer Jerry, the manufacturer does not provide a bushing to place between the dishwasher wall and the cabinet wall. The manufacturer's recommendation is to use a wood screw on each side as it would go through a bracket (part of the tub itself) before entering into the cabinet wall. Once the screws are installed evenly, the plugs 4830ED4001B would be placed over the wood screws. Read More...
Michael May 05, 2019 for Model Number LDF7774ST The side attached mounting brackets broke. Is there an additional side mounting bracket that can be purchased to re-secure the dishwasher to the cabinet? If so a part number would be great. thanks
1 Answer Michael, your unit does not use side mounting brackets as there are two holes, one on each side about 3/4 of the way to the top, that are designed to be used as side mounting brackets directly on the tub itself. There will be one plug each that would need to be removed to be able to utilize these mounting holes. Once a mounting screw is installed, the plug would need to be re-installed to prevent possible leaking. Read More...
Stephen L January 16, 2017 for Model Number LG LDF7551ST The brackets shown are Top mount brackets. I need to side mount my dishwasher, and the bracket slot and holes in the case don't align. What do you recommend?
1 Answer Stephen, There are not mounting brackets for side mounting as they are built in. When you remove the cap on he inside door opening then run a screw into the hole and put a screw into the cabinet and then reinstall. Read More...
Tim R. February 16, 2016 for Model Number LDF7774ST It seems the top mounting bracket 5001DD4001A, looks almost identical to 5001DD4001B, Why does the B version cost so much and can the A version be used on the LG LDF7774ST?
1 Answer Hello Tim, The top brackets in both kits are the same. The price difference is completely determined by the manufacturer and inquiries about pricing should be directed toward them since they determine retail pricing. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
