G Nick May 26, 2021 for Model Number WA48J7700AW/AA Error code PC displays on my washing machine.I cant find what it means anywhere.
1 Answer G Nick, the error PC is going to indicate a failure to sense the clutch position. This can be caused by a failed user or main control, loose wire connection or broken wire, or a failed clutch. When the appliance is turned on and not in a cycle, the clutch should receive 5VDC from the main control when testing from the red wire to the green wire and then it should send a DC voltage signal to the user control when testing from the violet wire to the green wire. For the most accurate part information, the version number ( usually shown as -** or /**) would be necessary. Read More...
Linda August 20, 2019 I ordered a new washer plate for my WA45M7050AW/A4 and it arrived fine. I watched the video of the simple replacement and got to work. When I removed the old plate, the metal part of the center remained in the washer on the bottom rod. But... I noticed in the new part, the metal part is included there already (and doesn't come out easily). So... I don't know if the original metal piece is just stuck on the bottom and i should give it a few good wacks to loosen it... or if the metal part should come out of the new part and the old one remains??? I can send you pictures if that helps!!
1 Answer Linda, the metal bushing for the original pulsator would need to be removed. A penetrating oil can be used to try to loosen it, or a screwdriver and a small block of wood to use as a source of leverage to protect the spin basket. Read More...
Matt February 21, 2019 for Model Number WA50F9A7DSP/A2 I currently have the stainless pulsator in my machine. It is plastic with a stainless cover, and water and mold get trapped in between the two. Is this a one piece design and will it fit my model? Thanks!
