For Samsung Cover-Dispenser Assy (Part Number: OEM16949961)

Linda, the auger motor could indeed be the cause. However, it would be recommended that the ice bin is inspected to ensure that it is seated fully and that the ice is not blocked up at the bottom. If it is blocked up at the bottom, the dispenser chute would need to be inspected for an air leak by shining a flashlight up into the dispenser chute and looking down where the ice bin sets. If light shines through, there is an air leak that is causing the ice to block up. For the most accurate information regarding parts, the REV number would be necessary to ensure the compatible parts are notated.

Michael, The error code will indicate a faulty refrigerator sensor and would need to test the sensor to make sure that it is good. If it is good but still getting the error code then this will be a faulty main control board.

Hello Erin. It should come on if you touch buttons or open the door. Otherwise it goes to sleep. Thanks.

Rick for Model Number rs265tdrs

Ice maker won't dispense ice and auger motor doesn't run. I put in a new ice maker unit I have from a original warrantee service and ended up with a ice maker after they replaced it and problem turned out to be something else. But auger motor still doesn't run and ice doesn't dispense but ice bin is full and water still dispenses. Should I try this first or is there a way to check the padle switch. I figured if water works then the switch must work since it shares the same dispense padle on this model

Rick, This issue would be most likely caused by the auger motor which the part number you will need is the assy case - auger motor DA97-11095E.

Ronnie, On the bottom side of the dispenser cover there will be a screw, remove this screw and grab the dispenser cover opening where the ice comes out and pull to the right and pull out on the cover which should allow it to come off.

Patricia, The 22 E error code is a Refrigerator fan error. Test a tthe control board on the CN75 connector between pin 4 Yellow wire and pin 10 gray wire for 7 to 12 vdc. If there is proper voltage then the issue will be the refrigerator fan. If there is no voltage then the issue will be a faulty main control board.
