Evan December 30, 2023 for Model Number WF350ANR/XAA-0000 I fully understand that I am "supposed" to use DC62-00214L in my machine, but it is very hard to find and/or very expensive. Could I, in a pinch, use DC62-00214M and have it work or will it be entirely unusable?
1 Answer Evan, unfortunately, as the manufacturer has not listed an approved substitute for the inlet valve DC62-00214L, we would not be able to guarantee that any alternative would work properly. As this is the case, we would not be able to recommend the use of an alternative part. Read More...
Kirk May 18, 2020 for Model Number WF45K6500AV/A2 THERE IS WATER FILLED UP IN THE SOFTNER CUP OF THE DISPENSER. COULD IT BE THE WATER VALVE NOT LETTING ENOUGH WATER IN TO CLEAN IT OUT?
1 Answer Kirk, yes, slow or no cold water would cause the issue as you describe it. The dispenser cannot fill the dispenser cup to produce the suction needed to create the siphoning effect to dispense the softener. disconnect the fill hoses from the faucets and washer, check and clean any sediment or debris that has accumulated on the debris screens, flush the water supply faucets for a minute or so and reconnect them, remove, check and clean the dispenser cups (especially the siphon tubes) and recheck the operation and dispenser. If the water flow is still slow or the softener isn't dispensed properly then replace the fill valve. Read More...
Cam August 06, 2017 for Model Number WF42H5600AP/A2 No water entering into wash tub, checked all screens, hoses and found no restrictions. Could this be the water, grace valve.
1 Answer Hello Cam. You will need to test for power to the water valve. If there is power there, then the water valve will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
