The Electronic Control Board is an OEM part for Whirlpool microwaves. It manages and regulates the microwave's functions, including power levels, cooking times, and various preset options. This control board is essential for ensuring accurate operation and user control over the microwave's features.

Causes of a bad control board can include power surges, electrical shorts, moisture exposure, or general wear and tear over time. These factors can damage the circuitry and components of the board, leading to malfunction.

Symptoms of a bad electronic control board include:

  • Microwave not starting or responding to commands
  • Display screen not working or showing incorrect information
  • Inability to select or change cooking settings
  • Microwave shutting down unexpectedly during operation

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
