This air duct collar channels dryer exhaust to the external vent connection. It provides a secure, sealed outlet for the vent hose to help maintain proper airflow, reduce leaks, and support consistent drying performance.

What's included: One air duct collar Install notes:
  • Disconnect power; for gas dryers, also shut off gas supply
  • Pull the dryer forward and detach the vent hose
  • Remove mounting screws/clips, replace the collar, and reuse existing hardware
  • Clear lint from ducting, reattach the vent hose securely, and verify strong airflow at the exterior vent

Hello John. To replace the air duct, you will remove the back access panel and take out the screws securing it. Then pull it out of the cabinet.

Archie, We're sending you some additional information, but installing the heater assembly to the inlet duct, is pretty simple, align the end of the assembly with the inlet duct opening, slip the end into the opening and install and tighten the mounting screws to the mounting bracket. If the inlet duct has been removed, you will need to re mount it to the backside of the rear bulkhead, with the screws, and move on from there. Thanks

Hello Diane. The heater box goes into the air duct assembly WP3387911. These can be tight to get back in place. Hope this helps.
