Eric October 06, 2012 for Model Number Gmc305pds07 The previous glass on this model was adhered to the stainless door with two types of double sided tape, a clear thin two sided tape around the outer perimeter of the glass, and a thicker black double sided tape between the glass and the door around the perimeter of the rectangular opening in the stainless door. The new glass (AP3755817) came with no double-sided tape and the old tape was destroyed when the broken glass was removed. I don't see the tape for sale in your website. Where can I get these tapes? Do I need them?
1 Answer Eric, The outer door glass is actually attached to the door panel by the handle mounting screws on the top, and retainer clips and screws on the bottom. The two sided tape is not necessary. If you wish, you could purchase a roll of 1 in. wide two sided foam tape from the local home improvement center and use that to apply to the inner surface of the glass. Read More...
