Ivy P. December 29, 2011 for Model Number RF114PXSO 3 My first set of burner bowls rusted very quickly and caused the part of the electric range just beneath them to begin to rust as well. Some of the products used to prevent or delay rusting are clearly marked 'flammable' and obviously cannot be used. Is it safe to use the ones that warn only about irritation to the eyes, skin etc., but say nothing about being flammable? I would expect to use any product hours before lighting the range, of course, and certainly not when it is in use.
1 Answer Hello Ivy. No, you do not need to use any rust preventers on the drip pans WPW10196405. If they start to rust, it is best to replace them. Hope this helps. Read More...
