1 Answer Dave, Once you've moved the dishwasher out of the cabinet a few inches, if you trace theWP6-916881 mounting bracket back to the metal tub support bracket/bar(which encircles the side and top of the tub assembly) You'll see how the end of the bracket is inserted into a slot molded or cut in the bar, the width of the slot will be slightly smaller than the width of the bracket. You will need to manipulate the bracket and slide it to either side and then pull out on the one side of the bracket until the end clears the slot, and remove the bracket. We bought replacement top brackets Part Number: AP4364875 Made by: Whirlpool But there appears to be no way to install them. They have to slide under a metal channel that is actually the frame of the dishwasher and wraps entirely around the front and back in one continuous piece. Is there any way to replace the brackets?
