The Center Seal Grease is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. This specialized grease is used to lubricate the center seal within the washer’s transmission system, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. Proper lubrication of the center seal helps maintain the integrity of the seal, preventing leaks and reducing friction between moving parts. The great is in a 4-ounce tube

Replace the center seal grease if it becomes contaminated or depleted, which can happen over time due to normal wear and tear, exposure to water, or the breakdown of the grease's consistency.

Symptoms of insufficient or contaminated center seal grease include:

  • Leaking water from the center of the washer
  • Increased noise during operation
  • Overheating of the transmission area
  • Reduced efficiency in the washer's performance

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Hello, we do not recommend that you use any lube on the actual seal. You will want to lube the shaft and bearings with a"moly kote" lubricant part number WP22002123. Hope this helps!
