Juergen May 21, 2019 Our Refrigerator is not cooling. Neither Freezer or Refrigerator is not cooling at all. The odd part about this is that the centeral electric temperature indicator on the front of the left side door is still showing 0 degrees for the freezer and 38 degrees for the refrigerator section. Typically ones the fridge looses it's temperature the indicator will show the temperature increase. Any suggestions on what the problem might be? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Juergen, Some refrigerator controls only show the temperature settings for each compartment, others will show the actual current temperature readings.We need your refrigerator model number to assist you further. Michelle August 09, 2013 I am waiting for this overlay part to arrive on Monday and I was wondering how to install it.
1 Answer Michelle, To replace the overlay, remove the drip tray and the 2 screws 1/4 hex head. Lift the panel off the refrigerator door and lay on a protected surface. Remove the control board on the back and flip over the trim. Peel the old membrane switch off the unit. You will want to make sure that you clean the surface with rubbing alcohol or goo gone.
