This electronic control board manages the oven's user interface and heating functions. It processes keypad inputs, controls the display, and switches bake/broil circuits so cooking cycles start, regulate temperature, and complete reliably.

  • Interprets keypad/selector inputs to run oven functions and timed cycles
  • Switches bake and broil circuits via onboard relays to reach and hold set temperature
  • Operates the clock, timer, and status/error display
  • Typical symptoms of a failed board: no heat, temperature swings, unresponsive controls, blank/flickering display, beeping or error codes

Mark for Model Number JGS9900BDF

The touchpad on my Jenn-Air gas range is not working correctly, and I understand that this is a common problem that may relate to the design of the heatshield behind the keypad. However, I'm not sure if the solution is to replace the Control Panel/touch pad (part # AP4369292) or the Electric Control Board (part #AP4507648). The latter part seems like the solution, but I want to be sure. Please advise, and I'll order right away. Thanks, Mark Spence
