The Dishrack is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It measures 21" wide x 21" deep. It provides a stable framework for organizing and holding dishes, glasses, utensils, and other items during the washing cycle. Designed to fit securely in the dishwasher, it ensures proper water flow and cleaning efficiency for all loaded items.

Causes of a bad Dishrack can include prolonged exposure to high temperatures and moisture, leading to rust or corrosion, damage to the coating from sharp utensils, or bending or breaking due to heavy or improperly loaded items. Over time, these issues can compromise its functionality.

Symptoms of a bad Dishrack include:

  • Rust or peeling coating on the rack
  • Broken or bent tines that can’t hold dishes properly
  • Difficulty sliding the rack in and out of the dishwasher

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Titus for Model Number DU400SWKW0 Whirlpool dishwasher W10131216 (?)

Hi, I bought this washer some6-7 years ago, always been in the original box, now installed I notice that the lower rack does not allow the soapcontainer door to open. The soap container is located in the right lower part of the door and when its door tries to open it is blocked by the rack. The lower rack is one without any moveable parts for placing the dishes. The wheels and bumbers are all in place like they should. What is going on? I can not imagine that Whirlpool designed this washer the way I am having it here? May be the factory changed by mistake this type of lower rack. I hope you can help me out.

Titus, This dishwasher rack is the way that the unit is designed. You If it is the dishes that are causing the door to not open then you will want to make sure that there are not taller items in front of the door.
