I only need a short hose to make the connection. A one foot hose will work. Right now I have too much hose jammed into a small area. Can I trip the 4 ft. hose and make that work? What do you suggest?

Sharon August 11, 2014 for Model Number LSR7233EQO Hello, I need a drain hose longer than the standard 48 inches (but not 10 feet!). My model number is LSR7233EQO. This AP model number does not show up as compatible with mine. What should I get as an extension? The one I just pulled off seemed to be bigger at the end connecting to the washing machine but I don't know if it was heated and enlarged during original installation or if it was made that way.
