The Drip Pan is an OEM part for Whirlpool ranges and ovens. It is a removable tray positioned at the bottom of the oven cavity, designed to catch any spills, drips, or food debris that may fall during cooking.

A faulty or damaged drip pan can lead to a buildup of spills and debris, which can cause smoke, odors, and even potential fire hazards if not addressed promptly. Causes of a bad drip pan include warping or discoloration from excessive heat exposure, cracks or holes that allow liquids to seep through, or simply wear and tear over time.

Symptoms that may indicate a need for replacement include:

  • Visible cracks, holes, or warping in the drip pan
  • Difficulty sliding the pan in or out of the oven cavity
  • Persistent smoke or odors from burnt-on spills or debris
  • Leaks or spillovers from a damaged or ill-fitting pan

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Trina for Model Number kers507ywho

Looking to replace the drip pans on my kitchenaid oven, I found 8" that look correct, but the 6" have a larger hole in the center and I'm not sure they are the correct ones. I'm looking at the black porcelain ones and would like to know if they have a 'built in' trim ring, especially since they no longer make the trim rings, at least that is what I have been told. The demo of the chrome drip pans appear to be all one piece! Just wondering if the black porcelain ones are the same and where do I find the 6' with the small hole in the center. Thank you!

Hello Trina! According to the model number supplied the 8" drip pan part number 4211951 and the 6" drip pan part number 4211950 has been discontinued with no further replacements or cross references available and our company is unaware of any other available sources. Sorry about that!
